Questions families ask about the live online school.
Can we get a trial class before admission?
OPVG does not offer a trial class. The school was established in 2019 for overseas Pakistani families and keeps a full programme rather than a short sample lesson. Families can watch recorded videos from real live classrooms before they apply.
How does admission work?
Submit the online admission form. The school then asks for the admission fee, the monthly fee, and documents: a parent CNIC, NICOP, or passport, and a school leaving certificate for higher grades. The team contacts the family within 24 hours of the form. Once those documents are submitted, admission is confirmed the same day. Classes are live on Zoom.
Why should you choose OPVG?
The school’s slogan is We Consider Education as Worship. Lessons follow a British international syllabus, with qualified teachers and a management team that stays involved. Students are also taught AI, robotics, Flutter, Python, and Scratch.
Is the OPVG certificate accepted in other countries?
OPVG is a registered school, and its certificates are accepted in other countries. Classes are live and online for overseas Pakistani families.
What qualifications do the teachers have?
A teacher’s minimum qualification is a master’s degree with a B.Ed. Many teachers also hold an M.Phil or an M.Ed. They are trained in the school’s own system. The team page lists names and roles.
How do students get their books?
After admission, each student receives a portal username and password. Class books and study material are available there on a phone or a computer, so learning can start straight away. The syllabus page lists the books by class.
What are the school timings?
Timings follow Pakistan Standard Time. Nursery to KG runs from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Grade 1 to Grade 7 runs from 10:00 AM to 1:40 PM.
Why do children attend the morning assembly?
Morning assembly is for confidence and public speaking. It includes recitation of the Holy Quran, naat, speeches, and students hosting the assembly.
Do you provide live classes or recorded lectures?
Classes are live on Zoom, so students can take part. Recorded lectures do not replace the live lesson.
When does the academic year start?
The academic year starts in September and ends in August.
Where is the academic calendar?
The school has holidays for summer, winter, and Eid. The dates for the current session are on the academic calendar.
Up to which grade do you teach?
OPVG teaches online from Nursery to Grade 7. After Grade 7, students continue on the Cambridge IGCSE pathway. The school is affiliated with the Federal Board (FBISE), registered with SECP, and the school logo is registered with IPO Pakistan. All our teachers are female.
What is the fee, and are there hidden charges?
Admission is 300 SAR, paid once. Nursery through Grade 7 is 175 SAR a month. The IGCSE pathway is 250 SAR a month. E-books and School Portal access are included. There are no extra or hidden charges. Amounts in other currencies are approximate.
What happens if a parent uses inappropriate or threatening language?
OPVG expects parents to speak politely to teachers and management. If a parent uses inappropriate or threatening language, the student’s admission is ended. The leaving certificate states that the withdrawal was because of the parent’s conduct, not the student’s.
