Assistant Teacher

OPVG International Online School is seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our virtual learning community. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the lead teachers and facilitating the online learning experience for our students. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the education of students from diverse cultural backgrounds while working remotely.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support Lead Teachers: Collaborate with lead teachers to develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and learning activities suitable for the online environment.
  2. Assist in Instruction: Aid in delivering live virtual lessons, moderating discussions, and providing guidance to students during synchronous learning sessions.
  3. Provide Individualized Support: Offer personalized assistance to students who require additional help, clarifications, or modifications to meet their learning needs.
  4. Manage Virtual Classroom: Monitor student engagement, maintain discipline, and create a conducive online learning environment through effective classroom management techniques.
  5. Grade Assignments: Assist in grading assignments, quizzes, and exams according to established criteria, providing constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
  6. Communicate with Stakeholders: Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and colleagues to address concerns, provide updates on student progress, and foster a collaborative learning community.
  7. Technology Integration: Utilize various educational technologies and online platforms to deliver instruction, assess student learning, and enhance the overall online learning experience.
  8. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay abreast of best practices in online teaching, educational technology, and pedagogical strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in teaching at physical School.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology tools and online learning platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • You must have Fast internet , Laptop and Electricty backup.
  • Minimum one year contract is must.
